Passion for Ministry: Pastor James is a man with a contagious passion for the word of God.  Often referred to as the real "Bible answer man" he has found unique ways to remember and communicate the truth of God's word.

His extremely humorous communication style makes him easy to hear and a joy to be around.  James is married to Debra Thompson and they currently reside in Gaithersburg , Maryland .

Favorite Scripture: Proverbs 23:23 Buy the truth, and do not sell it, also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

Ministry Focus:  As a founding Elder of VLC, Pastor James serves as an assistant Pastor. Other ministry responsibilities include assisting in the oversight of the ministry of helps, leading in worship, providing congregational care and more.
